DATE: Victorian, c.1890

An incredible Victorian dog brooch dating from the late 19th century, circa 1890. The craftsmanship is exceptional, rendered in high relief with beautifully intricate hair texture an facial features. I believe it's a King Charles cavalier, but correct me in the comments if I'm wrong... Modelled in solid 15k gold with diamond-set eyes. Quite marvellous.
